Tools I recommend for a Barber Student
Most students don’t have the budget to get all the new expensive tools and a lot of them don’t know what tools are good. So I decided to come up with a list of tools that are good but won’t cost you a arm and a leg. Once you graduate school and start making some money, you can upgrade if you’d like but in the mean time these will get you through school. I hope you enjoy!
Trimmer
There is a lot of trimmers on the market but in my option these two are the best for the cheapest price. It just depends if you want a cordless or corded trimmer. If you choose the cordless slimline pro li, I would recommend adjusting the blade because out the box they don’t cut the hair that well. But after you adjust them they work great. If you decide to go with corded trimmer, the wahl detailer cuts hair great out of the box so you don’t need to adjust the blade.

Clipper
These two clippers in my option are the best for the cheapest price. It just depends if you want a cordless or corded clipper. If you choose the wahl cordless magic clip, I would buy the premium wahl guards to go with it. If you decide to go with corded Oster Fast Feed, I would buy the ceramic blade to use as your cutting blade. Im not a fan of this clipper without the ceramic cutting blade.
